Joey had his 2 month appointment today. He did AWESOME! He is up to 10 pounds 15 ounces, and 23 inches long. He is growing like a weed! Joey had his first set of shots and handled it like a champ. He cried for the first needle - but then just kept looking up at daddy!!
After all the excitement Jason and I worked the yard while nana and cousin Ashley took care of Joey. Ash survived her first diaper change (and so did Joey).
It is almost time for me to go back to work and I am not looking forward to it. I will be doing some work from home next week and earn myself another day or two off but it just won't be enough. We have a few busy weeks coming up. Next Saturday we have Laurens dance recital, we are heading to Myrtle beach at the end of the month, Then we have4th of July, Melissa's 30th birthday party, and Joeys Baptism - that only brings us to July 8th. Time is flying by so fast. I can hardly believe that Joey is finally here let alone that he is two moths old now! We still need to paint Joey's room and work on getting our central air running. We can only do one thing at a time I guess. Tonight we bought a new coffee table and tomorrow we are having the "junk guy" come and haul off all the stuff we cleaned out of the basement. There is just so much to do every time we get one thing done something else gets added to the list. Joey gave Jason his fathers day gift early (XBox 360) Jason was very happy, I have one more gift for him - but he won't get that one until Fathers day. Just in case he is reading this I will tell you all about it later. It is kind of a gift for me too - I love it when that happens.
