Hi everyone!
Jason, My mom, my dad, and I went to Foxwoods Saturday for the night... and it was a great time!!! I bought tickets for me and my dad to go to the food and wine festival and it was SOOOO Awesome!!! There were over 1000 different wines to taste - there was food everywhere, and beer, and vodka, and whiskey, and OMG So much fun!!! My dad and I are definitely going next year too! I am thinking of taking a trip to New York have some cheesecake I tried and maybe a ride back to CT for some special chocolate we found. I also had some super good shrimp... I actually went back for three servings! Not a good weight watchers weekend :)
While we were doing that my mom was spending time at the spa (I would have loved that too) Then we all met up for dinner - Jason had to work, so he didn't get there until 6. Needless to say after all my dad and I ate we only had something small - I was feeling pretty good and so was dad so we decided to gamble. My dad could do no wrong! He kept winning at blackjack. Now I will win at craps and then I play blackjack and loose - but Jack (my dad) was on fire!! I wouldn't play blackjack because it was $25 a hand - my dad was playing more than that - but $10 is my limit per hand. I decided to hit the craps tables - my dad joined me and we cleaned up the place!! Well, I won enough to give Jason a couple hundred to loose and still walk away with half a mortgage payment :) It was fun, my mom would keep on coming by and my dad would pay her to go away so he could keep winning.... lol
The next day my dad was a little hung over - so funny. We went back to give some money back - but I was winning again :) I took a couple hundred from the roulette tables and we called it a day.
I am so lucky to be able to have fun times like that with my mom and dad (and Jason) we really laughed a lot and enjoyed ourselves as much as we could. I Love my family and I feel blessed to have such a great relationship with them.
We are going back to foxwoods on October 5th (I think) the Sunday before the holiday on a bus trip.... it is $20.00 for anyone interested in joining us :)Take care all - more soon.Aimee
