Holiday Magic

North Conway was such a good time! First Joey and I went into the office to take care of a few things and then picked up Auntie Laura around 12. We only had on little issue of Dori trying to sit on Joey while he was in his car seat on the way to pick up Laura.... after I had a little fit in the car - Dori quickly learned that is not something you do, especially while mama is driving. We said we were going to stop along the way, but Joey kept on sleeping, so we just drove straight there - we were even early :)
Let me tell you - having Laura there was AWESOME! We had a great little system. Laura would take Joey in and out of the car and I would get everything else ready... it was like having another pair of hands. Auntie Laura was so good all weekend! Even when Joey wasn't feeling good.... he had a little poop accident, Laura got a little messy and ended up walking into the door.... SOOO FUNNY! Joey has two teeth now - he got one while we were away - so his belly was a little messed up.
Amy came up Friday afternoon and we shopped the day away... that night we had a yummy taco dinner and a wine tasting :) I think Amy will be up for more than one day next year!!
- Have to log out for a bit - will finish this later. Lots more to write about the kids pics and up coming holiday events.
I am back :) Lets see - North Conway was a blast - I can't wait until next year.
The day before Thanksgiving I served dinners at Good Will in Boston- such a great even. There was music and dancing, everyone had a good time. It felt good to give to people less fortuniate.
Thanksgiving was a great day as well. Very relaxing. We didn't get to see Ash and Lis or Unlce Scotty, but it was a nice day and they were in my thoughts. Joey had some mashed potatos and turkey and loved it. He had green beans and squash for left overs and loved that too - I hope he continues liking veggies like he does now.
We had a card game at night and uncle Dougie won - that is all I have to say about that :)
There are a few little things I can't write about - but if you are close to me you know what I am thinking.
We had the kids (Sam, Greg and Joey) pics taken for holiday cards and they came out sooo good! Can't wait to send them out. Joey had some other pics done and we will be sharing them for Christmas I am sure!
Heather had her baby girl Emily and I am going for a visit today. Joey has a cold so he will be staying home with daddy. They grow up so quick, Joey feels so big now.
I have started my shopping, but I am not close to halfway yet - I am way behind this year.
So many fun things coming up. Lauras holiday party, Work party, Concert from the Perkins school, Welch holiday party, brunch with Doug and Jill, and all the Christmas eve events. We will be so busy!! It is going to be WONDERFUL! I love this time of year.
Have to run, Joey is fussing before his nap. Write more soon.Aimee
